Trash Pick Up & Recycling
September 3rd, 2010 § Leave a Comment
The County has certain goals set for each town so please continue to recycle. Please think before you trash something. If it can be recycled please put it in your bin for pickup on Tuesday. If you have any questions as to what can or cannot be recycled stop by Town Hall and pick up a brochure explaining this in detail or call. We appreciate all efforts toward recycling! We now have recycling bins located behind town hall for residents inside or outside town limits. One is specifically for corragated cardboard.
The Town provides trash pickup for Town residents; pickup is every Monday morning. Trash should be put out by 7:50 am. All trash should be tied in bags. Loose trash will not be picked up. No cardboard is picked up. Normally if a holiday falls on a Monday, trash pickup will be on Tuesday; it will be posted on the sign if there is a change in schedule.
Curbside recycling is on Tuesdays within Town limits. Recycling bins must be out by 8:00 am. No corrugated cardboard is picked up.
